Directions

  1. To a bowl, add the flours, baking powder, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the Greek yogurt and diced apples until the dough becomes crumbly.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough until it's no longer sticky, adding more flour as needed.
  4. Roll the dough into a thick log, then cut it into 10 pieces. Shape each piece into a disk, then gently make a hole in the center with your fingers. Place the bagels on a lightly greased, parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 minutes.
  6. While the bagels bake, melt the butter and set it aside. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  7. After 15 minutes, remove the bagels from the oven, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and return to the oven. Bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!
