  1. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Add in the kaniwa flakes, vanilla extract, and sweetener (if using). Then lower the heat, and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Let stand for 2-3 minutes. Then transfer it to a bowl, top it with jam, peanut butter, and chia seeds. Enjoy right away!

This hot cereal with kaniwa flakes is made with no sweeteners since it's topped with the jam. However, feel free to sweeten it according to preference.
