Wish I could give it six stars. It is such a great healthy way to give your foods more texture and flavor . I used it to fry eggplant and it came out so delicious. I am a big fan of this flour. It’s a must try if you’re looking to enhance your food with a healthy alternative.
I adore baking bread but have never used "Amaranth Flour" before. It can be risky to use new sorts of flour that you are unfamiliar with, but I'm so far pleased. I did not make many changes to my original bread recipe in order to evaluate the results, which were satisfactory. I did not notice a significant improvement in flavor because I only used a small amount of this flour. The current price is $25.41, which is reasonable for this type of 100% organic flour.
We used this as a gluten free alternative for thickening and also some flat bread. Honestly its really well ground and easy to work with. Because its so fine it worked great in a soup I made and the flat bread was to die for! The flavor is not super noticeable to me. It just tastes a little earthy maybe? But I also season all my breads and soups pretty heavily so I am not really giving the flour a chance to sing on its own. But if you are looking for a wheat flour replacement this stuff is a great option!

I am a chef and Baker and have used this kind of flour before. I use it for a range of recipes. Everything from fried chicken or fish to banana bread and pie crust. It's very versatile and super healthy.
